Joint Work

The film tells the story of Zhou Chen taking two women, Manning and Jiajia, to the same park on two consecutive days around the new year. On December 31st, the last day of the year, he planned to bring Manning there to break up with her, and on January 1st, the first day of the new year, he brought Jiajia to confirm their relationship. Zhou Chen hoped that his life could have a brand-new start amidst this alternation of "bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new." However, the story gradually surpassed his expectations as it was being "told."
