John began working in television in 1982, moving up from the floor to directing while still a teenager. Embracing all the elements of production, from lighting to sound and a passion for editing.

John began Ondo Media in 2008 to help tell stories for small businesses and non-profits. With a fundraising background, John knew the power of testimonies. John's projects have won him four Ohio Valley Emmy Awards and two Silver Tellys.

In addition, John has produced and directed several short films and full-length documentaries which have given him acclaim as a filmmaker who knows how to weave a story about the American Small Town. John's ability to work as a "one man band" shooting. interviewing and editing a story and keeping a strong vision for each project is one of the reasons he is sought after by many organizations to tell their story.
