Joe Howell
Producer/ Director Joe Howell is the Creative Director of Stage Ten Media, a Film, Music and Digital Media Production Company. Joe has worked in the film and music industries for over 20 years as an Film maker, audio engineer, author, music producer, director and songwriter. He has worked for ABC Television and in video editing. While working as a recording engineer in studios such as NYC's Sony Studios and The Hit Factory, he secured a music publishing deal with Polygram/Universal Music Publishing. His work is showcased on many LP album and live projects including LaFace/Arista Records, Bad Boy/Universal Records, StepSun/Tommy Boy Records, and others. He received ASCAP’s prestigious Rhythm and Soul Award for his chart-topping work on Billboard, and he holds a number of gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and is certified MCP, A+ and N+. He worked for Whitney Houston's record label Better Place/Elecktra Records in production, songwriting and music publishing. Joe is also a Director for the BigPictureCon Film & Technology Conference (also known as The Big Picture Conference), which is produced by the Big Picture Film & Video Foundation, of which he is a board member.
Joe is a member of the Film Independent Society, Atlanta Film Society and has been an active member of ASCAP for over 20 years. He is also an active and voting member of NARAS (which produces the Grammy Awards). He has produced a wide variety of client and corporate productions.
