Jillian Reeves began her entertainment career at the University of South Carolina where she majored in Theatre, Speech & Dance. After graduating she moved to Chicago to pursue her MFA but soon began working consistently in the towns booming theater and indie scene. It was also in Chicago where she got her first taste of directing in the local theater.
After 5 years of cold winters Jillian made the leap to Los Angeles and hit the ground running. Captivating audiences with her unique mix of sex appeal and down-home charm, Jillian Reeves made her television debut performance in BET's groundbreaking film "Let's Talk".

This versatile actress has most recently graced the screen in her breakout performance as Giselle Marks in TVOne's Media. She's also had recurring roles on Young and the Restless and CSI:Miami, guest spots on shows including Grey's Anatomy, Masters of Sex and Game of Silence. Jillian also enjoys creating memorable characters on the stage, her first love.
A quiet storm, Ms. Reeves is one of the most naturally gifted actresses in Hollywood with her priceless comedic timing, her sense of dramatic intensity and her radiant inner joy that penetrates every role with excellence.

Her other passions include being a mom to her twins, coaching actors for auditions, being an outspoken advocate for Mental Health Awareness, particularly in the underserved African American Community and fighting to #EndTheStigma of mental illness. She also enjoys mentoring young women from socioeconomically disadvantaged communities helping them to find their voice and stand in their power.
The popularity of her film Let’s Talk garnered her an invite to speak at the United Nations for World Aids Day, where she discussed the impact of HIV/AIDS in the black community. This marked her first real intersection of entertainment and advocacy. Since that time, she penned several short films including “Hope Reigns” an award-winning film about a woman finding hope after her friend’s suicide, and her latest film “Broken” in which she made her directorial debut.

As a director, Jillian found that her varied skills and unique life experience served her well. It provided a platform where she could truly use all facets of her talents. As a natural storyteller and creative problem solver, Jillian and directing are truly a career match made in heaven. With “Broken” (a film that highlights the often overlooked plight of families in the country’s mental health crisis) she was able to create a visually moving story, draw amazing performances from the actors and create a strong sense of community on set for the cast and crew.
