Hossein Nejadmousa was born on August 6, 1997 in Mashhad, Iran to a middle class family. He grew up in Mashhad and at the age of 17 he started acting in amateur theater groups. He then studied at the Montazeri Technical College of Mashhad.
Hossein Nejadmousa did not continue his studies in the field of electrical after receiving his associate power technician and started his artistic activity in the field of documentation.
In 2016, Nejadmousa directed "Sepehr", which was made by Owj Arts and Media Organization investment.
Nejadmousa has directed several other Documentary films since Sepehr: All together in 2018, Golshahr in 2020, A more pleasant service than promise Documentary series in 2021, and Habib in 2022. He also recently directed a short-length documentary titled Jihad Crossroad which follows a disabled veteran in Islamic Republic of Iran in his attempt to live his life with dignity.
Golshahr (2020), which was presented at the 15th Iran International Documentary Film Festival, Cinema Verite, also won the Best Picture award in Self-sacrifice section at the 13th Iran International Sport Film Festival, FICTS.
He has written and directed many noteworthy films, notably Jihad Crossroad (2023), nominated for the Best Short Documentary at the 17th Resistance International Film Festival.
