Jiaxiang Temple
Jiaxiang Temple is located in a village in Shanxi, China. It is approximately built around 952. During the Cultural Revolution, The temple is a classroom for the villagers and a storage for the Production Team.
Zhang Wancai (68), the only guardian of the temple, devotes three decades to doing research about it. As a farmer who has never received any formal education, he is self-taught in the archeology study.
Now, he faces a new challenge. The government doesn’t allow stele rubbings, a key process for archeology studies. How would Zhang face this challenge?
