Jharkhand International Film Festival &Awards(JIFFA) India's one of the Largest Festivals , first time organised in Ranchi (India) on 25-27 May 2018 very successfully and 2nd season on 1-3 Feb2019 where Israel was the focus Country.In the Year 2020 we previously planned to organise JIFFA2020 in May but very unfortunately due to Worldwide Covid-19 disaster we postpone the date to 11th Oct 2020 for online Award Show and the selected films screened on web APP JIFFA, which is available on Google App Store . We are happy to inform that Various type of films in different languages from 53 countries worldwide including India are submitted in this festival .and finally it organised Grand Successfully .Again the Forth Season of JIFFA 2021 was successfully organised from 29th Oct to 31st October 2021.34 countries with 152 Films of different categories participated in the 4th season. His Excellency Honourable Governor of Jharkhand Shri Ramesh Bais participated in Award ceremony to pay Awards and motivate selected Film Makers .The 5th Season of JIFFA 2022 organised from 17th-18th December 2022 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Campus, Morabadi, Ranchi (Jharkhand).His Excellency Honourable Governor of Jharkhand Shri Ramesh Bais again participated in Award ceremony to pay Awards and motivate selected Film Makers Now the 6th Season was announced for 18th to 19th December 2023 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Campus,Ranchi. Unfortunately due to some unavoidable circumstances it's postponed and we planed to organise JIFFA2-23-24 together on 13th-14th & 15th September 2024 at Mega Sports Complex,Ranchi. For Winners of JIFFA 2023 we will provide them Air/Train AC2 Tickets To and Fro along with their stay and food .Our aim is to focus/Showcase Jharkhand Tourism,Tradition,Food,Folk,Fashion and Handicrafts at Global Plate form and to aware and transform Jharkhand film makers to grow the FilmIndustry in Jharkhand .In the other hand the festival encourage Worldwide film Makers to shoot their films in Jharkhand State .
