The Jewish Film Festival of Western Connecticut will begin its 7th season this September. The festival runs over the course of three consecutive Sundays and Mondays, September 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23. This will be the first year for open submissions. The submissions period is for only 30 days. The decision making process will be quick and you will not need to wait for months to hear a final decision. This year the festival will screen approximately 30-35 films over the 6 days and nights with an Opening Night Red Carpet VIP Film Premiere Reception and Film Screening, as well as a special Closing Night Film Reception and screening.

Award winners will receive special recognition and festival winning category laurels.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

All submissions fees are non-refundable.

Submit only finished projects.

Submissions must have all intellectual property clearances (i.e. sound tracks, stock images and video).

All accepted films will need two types of media for theatrical playback:
1. BluRay or Standard Definition
2. Digital .MOV / MPEG4

Digital Media must be made immediately upon acceptance of project.
Download links to WeTransfer and Vimeo are accepted.

Accepted filmmakers will provide a minimum of 5 digital images (JPEG & PNG only)
of scenes and a high resolution copy of the movie’s lobby poster.

Filmmakers will provide a 24 x 36 inch printed movie poster.
