Starting in 2012, Jette studied Production and Media Business at the renowned University of Television and Film Munich (HFF Munich). In 2014/15 she would spend a year in Los Angeles and London, where she worked in the development team at FilmNation Entertainment and at Recorded Picture Company, among others. Back in Germany, in 2016/17 she assisted in the international sales department of Beta Cinema. In 2017 Jette successfully completed her studies.

Since then, she has increasingly developed as a screenwriter, primarily for series. In 2017 she returned to Los Angeles and developed her first international high-end series TERROR in a Writer's Room. In 2018 she became the Head Writer of one of the five Writer's Rooms of the first HFF Summer School. Her project, 2051, is extremely popular. Since then, she has been developing this international high-end drama in a joint venture with Frank Doelger’s (GAME OF THRONES) RedRiding Productions. In addition to English high-end series, Jette also writes in German. She is the creator, writer, producer and director of WE/R, an innovative social series funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (release 2021 on Snapchat, 2 seasons).

Since 2014 she has been managing Junique Productions from Berlin and Munich. Jette lives in Berlin.
