Jess is a young, queer writer/director from a small country town in NSW, Australia. Since aging out of eating sand and learning how to press record on their family iPad, she has held a rapt reverence for stories and moving images. At 15, she directed a short horror-comedy that screened in the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, spurring interviews with the Nofilmschool podcast and Australian Cinematographer Magazine. Recently graduated high school having produced another two award-winning films, she has begun working on the team of a new upcoming series and developing her first feature.
