Jermey Ashley is a graduate from California State University Northridge Film Production program. Culminating in his undergraduate senior thesis short film "Golden Age" (currently on Amazon Prime). His passion for filmmaking blossomed as a child when his mother brought home a used camcorder, leading to a passion for filmmaking that resulted in writing and directing short films with friends every weekend.
Known for his dedication, professionalism, and creativity, Jermey continues to pursue his passion for moviemaking, studying every aspect of the industry from business, distribution to production. Honing his skills, he strives towards one-day directing large budget feature films with an emphasis on character, story and contemporary issues, which he feels is missing from present-day pictures.
After interning at Ghosthouse Pictures, director Sam Raimi's production company in the development department, Jermey Pair honed his craft by serving as Assistant Directing and 2nd Unit Director on a number of feature films.
His debut feature film "Meathook" is currently on the festival circuit, screening as such prestigious festivals as Chicago Horror Film Festival, Days of the Dead Film Festival (Indianapolis) and Tucson TerrorFest.
His upcoming projects include writing/directing/producing an Untitled horror comedy feature film slated to film late 2025 as well as serving as screenwriter on horror feature "Fear Asylum", shooting 2025.
