Jared Jekyll AKA AyspayAdekay is a proud Non-Binary/Trans, Queer Jewish rapper from Sydney/Eora; hoping to help evolve Hip Hop and its Cis-Het image, with other rappers like themselves.
Dismantling the expectations of your typical rapper, but still having enough skill to be taken seriously.

A career highlight was opening for the late DMX with a beatbox showcase.

Jared is a multidisciplinary performer with a B.A. in Music Theatre. Their
comedic prowess has cemented them as a familiar face on the
Australian Film, TV & Stand Up comedy circuit; and a sought-after
support act, having opened for Tony Hinchcliffe, Tom Green, DJ Douggpound and Ari Shaffir.

They have sold out shows across Australia’s top festivals including the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival, earning a bevy of 4 star
reviews and a nomination for 'Best Comedy’. They have performed
stand up in New Zealand, London, and at both the UCB in New York and
The Comedy Store in Hollywood; with an invite back to both clubs.
In 2017 Jared won 'Best Supporting Actor' at the SIFF for Must Go
Faster’s "Jinxed”; in 2018 they starred in Stefan Hunt’s “We’re All Going
To Die” alongside Hugo Weaving; and in 2019 they won 'Best Actor' at
the SF3 for their performance in Joel Perlgut's "Sad Sachs".
Other credits include: the Comedy Channel, Triple J Radio, MTV,
Nickelodeon & ABC Comedy, as well as featured roles in commercials
for Google, Optus, Pizza Hut, Hahn Beer & Doritos!
