Jannik Ohlendieck has written numerous short films over the years. His most noteworthy project is "The Crooked Path", which he also directed and produced.
"The Crooked Path" was nominated for three awards - Best Script, Best Director & Best Actor at the Dublin University Film Festival. Furthermore it was nominated for Best Student Film at the 9th Underground Cinema Awards.
In 2019, he acted, wrote, directed, produced and edited the short film "Down The Barrel", which was screened at the Dublin University Film Festival. The film also won Best Cinematography at the festival.
At the end of 2019 he wrote and completed the short films "A Long Way From Home" & "Aftermath" along with "El Origen" at the beginning of 2020.
In 2021 the short film "What Lies Behind The Mask?" was finalised and had a successful festival run throughout Europe.
2022 saw him finish the short film "Time Goes By Slowly Around Here", which is currently doing the festival circuit.
His upcoming feature film script "The Black Sheep" won the Best Feature Prize at the BlueCat Screenplay Competition 2023 and is currently in development.
