Jan is a Director of Photography and drone pilot. Originally from Germany, Jan immigrated to the US in his early 20s and is now calling Asheville, NC his home. He earned a degree in commercial photography and, over the years, worked his way up in the industry. He has since transitioned into commercial and documentary filmmaking. His passion for the underwater world frequently takes him to locations such as the beautiful Cenotes in Mexico, the Pacific Ocean, Cave Country in North Florida, and his local backyard quarry. He works on projects ranging from travel-tourism, to music documentaries and commercials.
