Sparkle: A Unicorn Tale is Jamie's Feature Length Directorial debut. In 2021 he directed a short called My Sister that was accepted into many festivals including The Lighthouse International Film Festival (LIFF). LIFF was selected as one of "The 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World" by MovieMaker Magazine in 2018 and 2020. In 2015 he Co-Produced the Romantic Comedy Slow Learners which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film was later picked up by IFC and was released on their Sundance Selects arm.
Jamie is a Principle owner and composer of MilkBoy an entertainment company based in Phildelphia, PA USA Jamie received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Miami. While pursuing an acting career in New York City, Lokoff discovered a new career in music instead. 1n 1998 Lokoff joined up with Tommy Joyner in a partnership that gave us MilkBoy. Since the two paired, MilkBoy has grown up to become the premier recording studio in Philadelphia. Just this past year winning grammys for the work they assisted on with music clients such as Silk Sonic and Jazmine Sullivan. It has been the destination for many local and national acts like Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, James Taylor, Dave Matthews, Lil Uzi Vert, Bruno Mars and more. As a writer and composer, Lokoff wrote jingles, produced bands and composed for national brands NBC Sports and Century 21 with aired during the Super Bowl.
