James is a Los Angeles based writer and producer, focusing on feature film and television development and production.

James other producer credits include Star City Murders, starring Tim Russ and Heath Centazzo. James' next projects include Goldenrod (Feature) and Lake Effect, a 1-hr drama series in the vein of Deadwood, set in mid-19th Century Batavia, New York.

"I create stories about Western New York, Cattaraugus County, and Buffalo, NY. Once considered the frontier, this land was the gateway to Manifest Destiny, and as such a melting pot of peoples from all walks of life to our fledging nation.
Goldenrod takes place in 1861 and 1862, but the characters and events that provide the historical inspiration for the film certainly existed before and after. It is my intention to showcase the amazing characters and stories from our frontier region, and show how those stories make relevant, poignant, and impressive cinema and television content in today's modern media environment."

James is the owner of Beauty View Ranch, a "playground for filmmakers"
