Director Biography - Kay The Kreator

Kiymora “Kay The Kreator” Smith is a Director, Producer, Cinematographer and Editor and the Owner of The Gold Standard Productions based in New Jersey. Originally from Connecticut, Kay earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Media Studies from Southern Connecticut State University. Over the past several years, Kay The Kreator has built up an impressive resume, which includes Cinematography for the Award-Winning short film, Zahra and The Oil Man (Dir. Yucef Mayes), BTS and Still Photography for 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks, and Cinematography on projects for GRAMMY and Academy Award-Winning Artists. Looking to the future, as The Gold Standard Productions expands, Kay aims to spend more time on her own creative projects as she plans to write and direct several of her own short films and features.
