Jacopo Sica is a 22 years-old italian filmmaker.
He comes from a very small town in southern Italy called Cosenza.
He moved his very first steps as a filmmaker during the high-school years, when he founded a TV-Web video production.
Then, when he was 18, he moved to the United Kingon to study Film Production at University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, a small town near London.
There, he had th eopportunity to develop his style and to study the fondamentals to become a writer/director. He worked with actors knowing people from all around the world, and graduating with a First Class grade.
Then, he applied for an MA Filmmaking course at Central Film School London, where he specialised in directing. There, he worked on a variety of short film projects, covering different roles, such as producer, editor, cinematographer and AD.
He has also recently written and directed his graduation short film, called "Dreams come from the Sea" (I Sogni Vengono dal Mare).
Now, he's looking forward to enter the industry as a filmmaker, working in companies and developing his very own style and projects at the same time.
