Born and raised in British Columbia, filmmaker Jacob Lacate discovered his passion at a very young age where him and his best friend would create small home-made skits around their local neighborhood.

A few years later, Jacob had to go through the hardship of his childhood filmmaking friend moving far away. It was at this stage where Jacob realized all he wanted to do was to make movies, no matter how difficult or time consuming it would be.

Jacob is taking his first step away from home-made videos, and is taking his shot at making it to the big screen where he wants to prove himself worthy.
