Director Statement

Jack’s Lantern is a proof of concept for a feature script that I’ve written. The feature story was sparked on Halloween night years ago, while witnessing a man in a pumpkin patch, carving jack-o-lanterns.
This proof of concept, which I’ve developed into a complete short story, is technically a prequel to my feature script. It captures the Halloween spirit, and explores the magic of child-like wonder.
