Majoring in Visual Communication Design, she took Film making as a sub-major. Her directorial debut is “Marojengja” which was selected in First-Time Filmmaker Sessions and got a nomination for Movie Appreciation Program for Short Fiction in Sundanese Language in the 2022 Bandung Film Initiative Awards. The movie was screened at the Cut to Cut Screening Event in Bandung and BFI Awards event in Bandung. Her recent work, Everything is Different This Year, is selected as the top 15 in the Short Film Competition held by Indiskop. Now she continues making short films and mastering the skill.
Western stereotyping of Muslims in the film is way too far. Most of them referring Muslims as terrorists or someone who wants to do badly in the name of jihad. As a Muslim myself, that's not what Islam teaches me and I'm never in my life met another Muslim as portrayed in western films. Therefore, I made this short documentary to show what a real Muslim does in a country with the most Muslim population in the world.
