Director Statement

Inspired by Sir David Attenboroughs 'A life on our planet' I was left behind with questions; what can I do myself? What is needed to locally preserve wildernis and sustain biodiversity? What can we do in our own over-developed country, The Netherlands?

When I met with our main character Jos, I instantly knew he has the ability to inspire many people around the world. His unique vision and hopeful message on energy, food and biodiversity deserves to be seen. And is sure to inspire many people to see how to become what in essence they already are: a useful species.
