Writer Biography - Darren A. Furniss

Darren has an Honors Degree in Drama and a background in theatre. He has written, directed and produced new works in theatre and his first play was produced and premiered at The Edinburgh Theatre Festival. His debut feature film thriller DAMAGED (2015) won three international film festival awards including Best Film. He has directed short comedy/horror film SHREDDERS (2019). Darren continues to write and develop new works with his attention on screenwriting and filmmaking.

A 70s thrill ride full of suspense, drama, violence and betrayal, played out in a time of disco, flares and sideburns. Building on the success of gritty British Gangster Films like Get Carter and Sexy Beast, and with as many twists and turns as The Usual Suspects.
J, D & COKE is an original British Period Gangster film that will engross, entertain and surprise audiences both here in the UK and around the world.
