When I read the story “Izhajanthukaal” of Maya, I thought this is the one that needs to bring infront of the audience. The theme in this movie is a typical scenario of a woman who lives in Indian culture and wants to some how come out from an unsupportive relationship and in the second part of her life, though she is happily living with her husband and children, still she gets haunted by her past.
I had later discussed with Meera and Dileep to see the possibility of bringing this story as a short film, Meera committed to write a screen play. She came back to me after few days with screen play and we sat together, discussed and shot it in a beautiful location with a village house and its surroundings.
