I protect your heartbeats is about Tuva and Josef who've been trying to have a baby after several years by undergoing IVF treatments. When the pregnancy test is finally positive Josef is overjoyed and can barely talk about anything other than the expected child while Tuva feels preassured by carrying something she and Josef have been longing for for so long.
I protect your heartbeat is about inevitable feeling of pressure and the fear of not being enough, but also about love and subtle differences in power in a relationship.
