Ivy Watson is an award winning writer and director based out of Vancouver, BC.

She studied Theatre (RyersonU) and Philosophy(QueensU) before finding her creative voice in film.

She's a graduate of InFocus Film School where she recieved the Award of Distinction and her short "Alive... aha, Fuck" won the Audience Choice Award. Her follow up short "Ferment" was selected by Vancouver’s filmmaking competition “Film Heist”.

Her artistic ambitions have a particular affinity for exploring the messier and more complicated sides of human nature. To her, beautiful stories rarely look that way on the surface.
