Ivo Krankowski is a writer, director and producer of short films and videos. Born in the United States, he was raised in Florence, Italy and lived in Warsaw, Poland. Currently living in London, in 2019 he completed his masters in directing at Drama Centre Central Saint Martins with a short narrative film 'The Invigilator'.
In 2010 his documentary on the childhood of elderly Jews in pre war Poland '8 Stories That Haven't Changed The World' won the Audience Award at the Jewish Motifs Festival in Warsaw and was selected for festivals around the world. Ivo's short erotic film 'A Memory Of Last Summer' won the Best Foreign Film award at the New York International Short Film Festival in 2014.
