Daniel Carneiro is a versatile Brazilian musician who has been living in Los Angeles since 2001, where he can be often seen performing Brazilian and American music in various night clubs and cultural events. His dynamic work as a composer, guitarist, singer and producer has been structured by his natural talent and a solid musical education, reinforced by various collaborations.

He also graduated from the film scoring program at UCLA, where he gained valuable experience with composition, conducting, harmony, and orchestration. More recently, Daniel studied mixing with Adam Moseley.
Daniel’s main instrument is the acoustic nylon-string guitar, but he also plays and performs with the bass, cavaquinho (a small 4-string Brazilian instrument widely used in samba and choro), ukulele, and various traditional Brazilian percussion instruments. Daniel performs his compositions solo or with many different musicians and collaborators in the LA music scene, including his band New Cycle. He has also collaborated with 2-time Grammy nominee Carmen Rizzo, Brazilian percussionist Marco Suzano, and co-authored a song with Queen’s guitarist Brian May. Daniel’s compositions have been featured on six movies. He has worked with producer Rafael Araujo and through his own label, New Cycle Records, produced eight albums.
