Dr. Snik has risen from the grave to bring you spooky grooves from the Netherworld. A collection of song/soundscapes brought from the Pits of Hell, the Dark Jungles of the Mind and the Outer Reaches of the Galaxy...
Dr. Snik is the alter ego of Justin Snikkar.
Justin has been a professional bass player for over 30 years playing many styles and playing live half-way around the world in many bands.
He has written music for as long as he's played it and has developed into writing horror and darkwave music that uses jazz harmony mixed with popular styles and electronic sounds.
Justin has teamed up recently with Mitch Markowitz (a.k.a Super Hippy - co-producer/actor) from the early 70's Canadian TV show The Hilarious House of Frightenstein featuring Vincent Price (1971), in a Halloween party song that crosses the Leslie Gore classic It's My Party, Too Sexy For My Car by Right Said Fred and Rob Zombie.
Justin has also teamed up with Halloween King J.C. Greening from Tuscon, Arizona since 2018 producing Halloween music, sounds and stories.
Halloween Haunts & Terror Tales Volume I: Trick 'R Treating for Children (2018) was featured in Rue Morgue Magazine in the No 1. spot for Needful Things in issue 188 (May/June 2019).
A new soundtrack is being scored by Justin for Vol 3 coming in 2021!
Dr. Snik's music is featured on year-round Halloween radio stations DeadAir.co and HalloweenRadio.net and has written some radio jingles for the online L.A. Halloween Radio Station DeadAir.co in 2021.
This music video tries to emulate the early 70's funky, video tape style that the Hilarious House of Frightenstein show is famous for, especially the Wolfman segments with it's use of analogue video feedback as the psychedelic backgrounds while the hits of the day played such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, and more....
2021 is the 50th anniversary of The Hilarious House of Frightenstein and all 130 episodes are currently being broadcast on Crave TV, soon to be on Tubi and an Official Blu-Ray set is being released soon (with Wolfman music segments being put back in).
Officially licensed by Frightenstein Enterprises International.
