Jonico Pratt (Born Dec 27,1991) is a Bahamian filmmaker born and raised in Nassau Bahamas. Writing and bringing compelling stories to life has always been imbedded in Jonico. Committed to creating, he picked up a camera in 2017 and studied and worked tirelessly until being able to create a television show that is now number one in the country and proudly backed by cable Bahamas. He now looks toward taking his craft to an international level.
Our islands of the Bahamas are viewed as paradise to many around the world; and rightfully so. But behind the curtains lie so many young men whose lives are being snatched from this paradise far too soon. Our young boys are spiraling; killing and being killed daily. Dedicated to the life of my closest friend growing up, I created this film to show from an islander's perspective what's causing our youths to go contrary and what it will take to help save them.
