It Can Happen To You is based on true events that happened at a Philadelphia Starbucks in April 2018 leading to the arrest of 2 black males. We follow main characters Rob, a single dad, and Nell, who has a child on the way, as they go through their day dealing with family and work life. But today is no ordinary day as they are preparing for an important business meeting with a real estate investor that will hopefully change their lives. Little do they know the change will not come from the business meeting but what happens before the meeting can start.

Director Biography - Chop Mosley

Chop Mosley is an African American screenwriter, producer & director from Philadelphia, PA. Mosley is also the owner/CEO of Film Mob LLC aka Film Mob Cinema. After briefly being an understudy of Director Benny Boom, Mosley found his passion for directing in 2012. In a short time he has already gained nationwide recognition, yet Mosley is on an unwavering path to leave his mark amongst the greats in the film industry. Director Statement

I directed this film because being a black male entrepreneur myself and from Philadelphia, I know that this could have happened to me. The world needs to see that being a black male doesn’t make you a threat but many people will see you as such simply because your skin tells them so.
