The film frames the community voices of landslide affected households of the village Porche Khurd. The film observes the loss of “Right to Life” and “Livelihoods”. The film narrates uncertain life and natural calamity and States idleness irresponsible response in natural calamity situation.
In July 2021, due to heavy incessant showers and triggering landslides inundated the homes of thousands of people, over hundred people have been killed in Maharashtra. The stand point of the film investigates that it is very unfortunate to experience such kind of heave human loss in the progressive State like Maharashtra. In this regard the film raises the several unsolved questions about life security and safety? Right to Life? Right to livelihood? The State and Civil Society?
The state has its Meteorological department at Pune, the state has disaster rescue team, and disaster experts, still it occurred. How? Moreover, the concerned state agencies have not identified such disaster hill sites where landslides may occur, neither informed the villagers nor received post calamity relief by any governing agency at the village Porche Khurd.
