Cavair Robinson, also known as the post-contemporary, Empress Grand Diva, Baby Olivia!, is a Black Queer Writer, Director, and Creative based in Chicago, IL. Inspired by ancient mythology, metaphysics, and French auteurs, such as Francois Truffaut and Agnes Varda, their work addresses the nuances of the Human Animal condition through abstract primitivism and often absurdist humor. An Alumni of Ball State University and the Great Lakes College Association’s New York Arts Program, they have produced, written, directed, and starred in several projects, including the short film, Is Tomorrow Wednesday?
