"In 'Is Anyone Coming Today?' We delve into the intimate bond shared between a mother and daughter amidst the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and the COVID-19 pandemic. Through candid scenes captured on a mobile phone camera, we witness their daily struggles and moments of connection, offering a raw and unfiltered portrayal of caregiving in the face of adversity.
Our aim with this documentary is twofold: to provide a therapeutic outlet for both filmmaker and subject, while also shining a light on the complexities of dementia and the profound impact of isolation. By sharing their story, we hope to foster empathy and understanding for those affected by Alzheimer's and the challenges of caregiving during these unprecedented times.
'Is Anyone Coming Today?' is not just a film; it's a testament to resilience, love, and the power of human connection in the midst of uncertainty."
