This is Animation Ireland’s third awards ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding creative talent we have within the Irish Animation, VFX and Gaming industries. The awards will take place at the Dingle Skelligs Hotel on Saturday the 23rd of March 2017.

Home to the Dingle Film Festival and Animation Dingle for the last 7 years, Dingle provides us with the perfect backdrop for the Irish Animation Awards. We are delighted to be back in the magical surroundings of Dingle and honored to be associated with what has become an internationally renowned event.

General Entry Criteria:

1.Entries submitted for consideration must be from Irish productions* that were released (on terrestrial, cable, satellite or digital channels including web based broadcasters who commission content) between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018.
2. Repeat transmissions are not eligible.

Irish Productions*
-Projects created and funded in Ireland.
-International Co-productions in which Irish studio has financial & creative stake.
-Service work with over 75% completed in Ireland (key creative roles must be based in Ireland).
Entry fee: $35 USD (€30 euro)

Important notice:

The Irish Animation Awards are kindly hosted at the Animation Dingle Festival. Please be aware that your Irish Animation Awards ticket does not allow access to festival events; and your Animation Dingle Festival Pass does not allow entry to Animation Ireland’s, Irish Animation Awards.
