Director Biography - Shane O'Neill

I am a starting film maker and this is my first independent film I have created on South Kerry. I study cinematography in California and just completed my first year. I have always had an envisioning passion for creativity and filming for me, made me feel at home.

Director Statement

This short documentary on the Skellig's coast showcases many sites for people to visit and checkout. Also at the same time, gives remarkable information on the major landmarks in the area. This town is where my father grew up and it seems to be a dying place, so with high hopes I wish to bring the life back to it as it used to be before. I wish for my documentary to draw attention to this area so many will stop by and visit what the area has to offer.
