I live I
A newborn baby, a street artist, a former detainee, and a hermit. Each with their own awareness to choose, renounce, suffer, love, live.
Each embodies a different phase of existence: the origin of life, youth, awareness, and wisdom.
But what is the link between these apparently disconnected lives? Time, or rather, an ideal relationship between time and awareness.

“Io abito Io” is a film documentary that reflect on the concepts of time and awareness, telling the stories of four protagonists. From a stylistic point of view there’s a fusion of real-life cinema and reportage.
The camera documents the reality without a direct interatcion with the protagonist, allowing viewer to get in touch with the intimicy of the four characters.
Film has a different editing style for each protagonist. In the case of little Luca, the editing rhythm is relaxed, unlike Cheris who has tighter and more aggressive rhyttm, Massimiliano’s editing has the intention to evoke a solitude feeling and tge search for his awareness, elements extended up to Gianni, rapresented by an ever slower rhythm that underlines the isolation and contemplation of the hermit.
