It showcases the personal stories of a diverse group of heroes, including a policeman, a bus driver, a paramedic, a nurse, and a gas station worker, who all rose above fear and prejudice to protect human lives.
Through heartfelt interviews with these courageous individuals, their families, and the survivors they rescued—most of whom were Jewish—the film captures the profound impact of their actions.

Since 2020, Aleksandra has been working at Arvut Production as an Executive Producer and director of one of the episodes of the series "PREMONITION OF CIVIL WAR", dedicated to the civil wars of the 20th century. The project delves deeply into key events and the consequences of these conflicts, which changed the world order and left an indelible mark on history.
In the fall of 2023, work on the series was paused so that Aleksandra could focus on a new project — the creation of a film dedicated to the events of October 7, 2023, in Israel. This film became a priority project for Aleksandra, reflecting the team's and her own commitment to conveying the dramatic events of the present through the lens of cinematic art.
The documentary film "In the same boat" is a story of human heroism that emerges in the darkest moments. This film tells the story of the tragedy that occurred on October 7, 2023, near the Supernova Sukkot music festival in Israel, when, during a terrorist attack, people came together to save lives. At the heart of the story are Arab citizens who, despite the danger to their own safety, came to the aid of the victims. Doctors, nurses, police officers, and ordinary citizens risked their lives, not thinking about cultural or national differences, but to help those in need.
For me, as a director, this film is an opportunity to shine a light on an important but often overlooked story. In a world where conflicts and divisions frequently overshadow examples of human solidarity, this film shows that in the darkest times, people can overcome any barriers to help one another.
I hope that through this film, we can remind viewers that in critical situations, true humanity always comes to the forefront. This film is about those who risked their lives for others, not thinking about their differences because the most important thing was saving a person as a human being. Their story deserves to be heard and seen, as it carries a powerful message: even in the most difficult times, we can find unity. After all, the life of every person is invaluable, regardless of their religion, nationality, or affiliation with any faith.
