PODKOPAEVA IRINA LEONIDOVNA

In 1977 she graduated from the directing department of GITIS.
1978-1990 - actress at the Griboyedov Russian Drama Theater (Tbilisi). She starred in several films by Georgian filmmakers.
In 1990 she returned to Moscow and was accepted into the troupe of the Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theater. Then - the leading actress of the Theater in the Southwest.
Founder and artistic director of the Theater on Chertanovskaya (1993, later - “Theater of Irina Podkopaeva”).
She returned to the Theater in the South-West in 2001.

Honored Artist of the Georgian SSR.
