“In the Orbit Without You” revolves around the life of the shop owner “Stall Auntie”. Her nephew Cheok In, as an observer, witnessed Stall Auntie’s inspiration to others, and decided to imitate her and inspire others.

Hugo, Leong Hou Wang is currently studying Creative Media at the University of Macau. His ambition is to explore innovative ideas and exceptional perspectives. He holds various positions and often works as an assistant director, focusing on film production and editing.

Director Statement

Finding who we are is a life-long task for each of us to the end of life. On the way to death, we may try to take one more step to aspire others on a optismistic life journey.

As long as someone still remembers and inherits the thinking of the passed ones, they will not really die.

This story was based on my own experience. I wanted to film this story due to few reasons, first of all is to memory my Aunt, second is to try inspiring my audience a way to get over when facing death.

This film was executed by mostly my own director’s ego. However, without my team, I could not do anything. And I would like everyone to give them a round of applause.
