Diliyara Sharafeeva is a young and talented film director from Almaty, Kazakhstan. She is currently finishing her final year at AlmaU Media and Film School. Made a directorial debut with the "Last Days of Summer" short film.
With this film, I wanted to tell a story about the lives of ordinary kids. During the last days of summer break, you always feel the upcoming life changes. Being a teenager is not always easy. My characters are all very different, but they all have similar experiences. In my directorial work, I wanted to raise such topics as growing up, anxiety, friendship, and love. I hope you will appreciate our work and you will like our movie! We also have plans to maybe continue the stories of our characters in a TV series somewhere in the near future.
