L' International Film Festival of Comedy drama – Festival Internazionale Commedia e Commedia drammatica si propone come luogo di incontro e confronto per il cinema in generale, con chiaro riferimento a quello internazionale, con particolare attenzione alle commedie e commedie drammatiche, anche di genere (umoristiche, nere, musicali) e alle cinematografie emergenti, ai giovani cineasti e agli indipendenti. Nelle sezioni competitive promuove la conoscenza e la diffusione di film di nuovi autori caratterizzati dall’originalità tematica e stilistica.

The International Comedy and Dramatic Comedy Festival is proposed as a meeting and comparison place for cinema in general, with clear reference to the international one, with particular attention to comedies and dramatic comedies, also genre (humorous, black, musical) and emerging cinemas, young filmmakers and independents. In the competitive sections, it promotes the knowledge and dissemination of films by new authors characterized by thematic and stylistic originality.

Awards & Prizes


La Direzione del Festival nominerà una Giuria Internazionale composta da almeno cinque persone, incaricata di assegnare i seguenti premi:

• Premio per il miglior film
• Premio per la sceneggiatura
• Premio per la migliore fotografia
• Premio per i migliori costumi
• Premio per la migliore scenografia

Il pubblico, inoltre, provvederà a conferire, votando da casa – online – e in sala, con apposite schede distribuite all’inizio della rappresentazione cinematografica, il premio al miglior film “Scelto in sala”.

La Direzione del Festival nominerà una Giuria composta da almeno tre persone, incaricata di assegnare i seguenti premi:

• Premio per il miglior cortometraggio internazionale

The Festival Direction will appoint an International Jury composed of at least five people, in charge of assigning the following prizes:

• Award for best film awarded with the "Golden Megaphone"
• Screenplay Award
• Award for the best photograph
• Award for the best costumes
• Award for the best scenography

Furthermore, the public will confer, by voting from home - online - and in the hall, with special cards distributed at the beginning of the film performance, the prize for the best film "Selected in the room".

The Festival Direction will nominate a Jury composed of at least three people, in charge of assigning the following prizes:

• Award for the best international short film

Rules & Terms

Il Festival si articola in 2 sezione competitive:

• Concorso Internazionale aperto a Lungometraggi di Commedia.
Possono partecipare a questa sezione lungometraggi di finzione genere commedia e commedia drammatica. Sono escluse dalla partecipazione le opere già presentate nel concorso principale delle maggiori manifestazioni internazionali quali Cannes, Berlino, Locarno.

• Concorso Internazionale aperto a Cortometraggi.
Possono partecipare a questa sezione film e video di ogni Paese della durata massima di 30 minuti, senza alcuna preclusione di stile o di genere.
Non possono essere sottoposti alla selezione più di due titoli dello stesso autore

E nelle seguenti sezioni non competitive:

• Fuori Concorso: dedicata alla produzione più interessante dell’anno in corso.
• Prospettiva Campania: dedicata principalmente a film di girati nella regione Campania;
• Ritorno al Passato: dedicata a pellicole che hanno fatto la storia della commedia.
• Retrospettiva d’Autore: ogni anno il Festival proporrà cinque opere di un Autore che ha contribuito con la sua arte a diffondere e sviluppare il linguaggio del cinema.

The Festival is divided into 2 competitive sections:

• International Competition open to Comedy Feature Films.
Feature films in the comedy and comedy-drama genre can participate in this section. Works already presented in the main competition of major international events such as Cannes, Berlin, Locarno are excluded from participation.

• International Competition open to Short Films.
Films and videos from each country with a maximum duration of 30 minutes can participate in this section, without any foreclosure of style or genre.
More than two titles by the same author cannot be submitted to the selection

And in the following non-competitive sections:

• Out of Competition: dedicated to the most interesting production of the current year.
• Perspective Campania: mainly dedicated to films shot in the Campania region;
• Return to the past: dedicated to films that have made the history of comedy.
• Author's retrospective: every year the Festival will propose five works by an author who contributed with his art to spread and develop the language of cinema.
