This year’s edition of Interface Video Art Festival is finally back as a live event. After two years of working exclusively online this festival will be held in mid-December both as virtual – online and live in Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, Croatia.
This festival is focused on experiment in video medium and embraces art works which explore innovation in audiovisual research. It seeks for inventive, provocative, and exciting video art works from around the world that push the boundaries of the video and film medium. The selection integrates a wide range of genres, including visual narrative, animation, music video, documentary, video performances and hybrid film forms. Interface Video art Festival was developed as additional part of Hartera Music Festival. Since 2014 it runs as an independent manifestation devoted to new media and video art that provides an opportunity for emerging artists to create, thrive and present their innovative work.
