Randall Jahnson has been a working screenwriter for more than 30 years.
He has delivered scripts for both large and small screens; in both studio and independent realms; in genres ranging from horror to historical.
He’s worked with such diverse filmmaking talent as Steven Spielberg, Alec Baldwin, and Penelope Spheeris.
Among his produced credits are Dudes, The Doors, The Mask of
Zorro, Sunset Strip, Dryads - Girls Don’t Cry, and episodes of the HBO cable series, Tales from the Crypt.
He also wrote the epic Western video game, Gun, which was voted Best Story at the 2005 IGN Video Game Awards.
Way back in the 1980s he directed videos for punk rock bands and independent musicians including Henry Rollins, Black Flag, Stan Ridgway, and the legendary Minutemen.
Jahnson grew up in Carlsbad, California before it was Legoland. He attended film school at UCLA.
He lives with his wife and son and a lot of tall trees in the Portland, Oregon area.
