Inside the Honest Lie

My name is Tom Armstrong, I am 20 years old and I am an aspiring filmmaker and artist, currently studying my Bachelors in Creative Industries: Film & Television at Flinders University.
Since my dad first introduced me to films as a kid, they have always been important in my life.
I have been studying hard whilst juggling life, sporting commitments and work so I have not yet had the opportunity to create much of my own or contribute to other's work. However, my experience in schooling, sport and the workforce have prepared me to enter the industry. But my best and most useful qualities are those that I have inherited from life. They are what have truly helped me succeed. And these qualities have been upheld and amplified in the films I have seen. There is so much to learn and gain from movies and I want to be able to express my learnings through film too. I am a people person, and I love collaborating and working with others to achieve the best we possibly can. My hard-working nature high sense of responsibility and work ethic as well as my personability and willingness to get the best I possibly can out of myself and others will make me an asset to any project I am a part of.
I love movies with all my heart and cannot wait to start making them and being apart of them.
