In search of the blue thread

A short film that resulted from artistic research on the water supply infrastructure for the City of Vienna. Even though almost 200km away, the spring of the first waterway (1. Hochquellwasserleitung) - providing the city with fresh alpine water - is owned and controlled by the Viennese government. Though the flow of the water is not much controlled, many repeated architectural elements and signs of explicit ownership can be found.
