Innocence

Zhendong woke up from the ground of a uncompleted residential building. He was unconscious because of a heavy blow to his head, which caused a brief amnesia, his special identity and the two people with unclear identities in front of him. For a moment, Zhendong didn't know whether he was a policeman or a bad person. With his found memories, he chose a bad person at first. Later, he firmly believed that he was a good person. Through the battle of wits and courage, he finally brought the bad people to justice, but finally found that he was a bad guy. And he who believed so firmly in his identity before chose to die with the bad guys.

Director Statement

Hao Yi, formerly known as Hao Yifan, was born on April 7, 2001. He was admitted to the Director Department in Qingdao Campus of Beijing Film Academy in 2019 and Radio and Television Editing and Directing (Chinese-foreign cooperation) of Hainan Normal University in 2021;Currently, he is in the stage of learning and exploring films. He is obsessed with director Wong Kar Wai and director Shunji Iwai. He is more in the 'integration of director, screenwriter, photography and editing' for his short film creation. At present, he is also in the attempt of various styles and types, not influenced by various mainstream values. He likes his own unique creative style and grotesque expression.
