Ink
Ink is a surrealist film that experiments with an alternative approach to narrative and establishes itself to be more poetic then narrative based, The film explores the psychological complexities of fear and nightmares.
We are presented with two characters, INK (Emily-Jane Jones) and GEL (Zoe Pearce) who are more symbiotic than traditional narrative characters. Ink embraces the notion of ambiguity in keeping within the experimental focus.
We invite you to the world of INK, embrace yourself.

I am a highly motivated and passionate person for film and television with experience working and contributing with in the creative environment. My desire to become a filmmaker began when I was 13 years old. My films ranging from short films to documentaries have been selected in international film festivals and been recognised by national newspapers and radio stations.
Ink is my second experimental short film that I have created part of University Moving Image Production, Externally Set Brief module.
My film was inspired by the artistic visuals from director, Nicolas Winding Refn and range of experimental surrealist films from David Lynch.
I have enjoyed the experience to create this short film with the intention to allow the audience to question the characters, style and visuals.
