Director Biography - Alexander Popov

I was born in 1979 in the USSR, I remember how the country was crumbling and breaking before my eyes, but we were young and did not really understand why, yesterday the refrigerator was filled to the top today was empty, and my parents constantly told me about the Institute and the terrible fate that awaits me if I get into the army... We just went out and played and tried to do everything we could. At some point, a video store appeared in the area, and we, with burning eyes and saved rubles, stood in queues, wanting to get to new Hollywood movies. Then there was a home video recorder and exchange of videotapes with friends, and then ... there was a video camera!
