Inherit the Earth
Part meditation, part lament, "Inherit the Earth" is a brief encounter with five young people living in Southwest Baltimore. Conceived as a micro-documentary exploring the experience of food insecurity among children in Baltimore’s inner city, this short film transcends its original intent, offering a quiet reflection on loss and resilience within the struggle of systemic poverty.

Getting his hands on his parents' VHS at the age of ten, New Orleans native Christian Schultz fell in love with filmmaking from the beginning. Finding his way into commercial filmmaking in 2011, Christian has brought a dose of humanity into brands and products all over the world. He further ventured into the feature world with the release of the feature-length documentary “MAKE,” which premiered in Fort Worth TX in 2015. From multiple Vimeo Staff Picks and Shorts of the Week, Christian has burst on the scene as one of the most personal filmmakers among his peers.
